Capybara Etching

If anyone were to ask me what I want to be when I grow up, I would tell them a capybara. Specifically one of the capybaras that live at the bioparks in Japan and just chillax all day in the hot springs with yuzu fruit serenely floating by. This is my homage to the noble and terminally relaxed capybara who is probably as chill as it is because it knows it's the largest rodent on earth.  I also use this print to do a couple fun techniques: a la poupée on the nose and chine collé on the fruit. A la poupée involves dabbing in multiple colors of ink on the same plate and chine collé is a fancy way of saying using the press to add collage paper to the print. The image size is 6" x 6" (15 cm x 15 cm) on acid-free BFK Rives cotton rag paper that is 8" x 8" (20 cm x 20 cm).
