Hand pulled etching of Duncan, our family's dear old Labrador retriever. The image size is 9" x 11" (23 cm x 28 cm) on acid-free BFK Rives cotton rag paper that is 11" x 15" (28 cm x 38 cm). Dunc was a very good boy, always smiling and keen for a pet and a treat. Dogs are like fine wine - they just get more lovely and complex with age and Duncan was no exception. There's nothing that makes me say "aww" quite like a elder pup with white whiskers. Though the real Duncan was a black lab, I thought I would try it in sepia as that color evokes age and time and I think it was a successful color experiment.
