This an homage to our local Seattle area resident orcas, known as J-pod. The aquatint ended up having a funky brushed on texture that I think actually works with the look of sunlight filtering through waves. I'm going to pretend that this happy accident was totally intentional. I have a signature "rainy day blue" ink that I mix for my various Northwest themed panoramas that I think fits our general vibe nicely. The image size is 12" x 3" (30 cm x 8 cm) on acid-free BFK Rives cotton rag paper that is 14" x 7" (35 cm x 18 cm).
